"KooL" Trip
Thursday, December 11, 2008 8:36 AM
It's time I update about my KL Trip. Damn, it was good. But, I do learn something from the trip - which is to appreciate my own country, Singapore! Like, seriously... In terms of road rules (traffic lights), customer service, etc, Singapore is still the best. Anyways, so, here goes my story.
(I'll try to cut it short. No worries.)
We reached KL at around 4 pm. It was like a 6 hour journey. Took Five Stars Tours. OMG. The bus was awesome!

Me trying to operate the TV.

As you can see, there's TV, headphones, & a comfortable chair. It was real relaxing throughout that 6 hour bus ride. Then, as soon as we reached, we took a van & head to our hotel. Hotel was good too. Concorde Hotel. Only that, the service wasn't that good. They did not attend to us when we entered, but they attended to other people (eurasians, caucasians, etc) instead. That sucks. Seriously. But, anyways, this is a sneak peek of how the room is like.

there's like a side chair & a side table with the standing lamp.

quite a big bed, if you ask me.

& of course a mirror.

pillow fight!

There's also a TV & radio beside it. The toilet was just ok, there's still a bathtub, even though it wasn't like a suite or anything. Yeahh... All in all, it's just ok lah. Good...

After that, all of us head down to like pasar malam places. Those which open till late at night, and can bargain, & cheap. I bought a lot of stuffs at those places. Mainly tops. Oh, bought 1 for Mr. also. He looks good in it, except he said it's kinda tight. But, whatever. He still said he likes it. So, I'm ok with that. (& btw, I wash my hands off Mr. fashion style & clothes.)

Shop till about 1+ in the morning. As soon as I reached the hotel, I just throw myself on the bed & sleep. Hehe...

On the 2nd day:
Went to shopping centre this time. Times Square. Took the monorail. OMG. DAMN SCARY. It was like quite unstable. The wheels were only in the middle & the left & right doesn't look safe at all. We almost couldnt breathe properly in there (or maybe, just ME alone), until we actually alighted.

that's the monorail.

On the way to the Times Square, we saw a wall full of graffiti. So, what did we do?

tried to jump in front of it! this is just a failed version of it.

It was fun. Really. Hahaha... I think there was one successful jump. It was cute lah. Hahaha... & the graffitis were cool!

Then, when we were at Times Square, they had this cool theme park. Imagine: A Theme Park in a shopping centre. It was cool. But it was scary. SUPER scary. The roller coaster ride especially. I screamed just by looking at it turn and going at such a speed. Seriously... I guess I was too scared, that I even forgot to take a picture of it. Hahaha...

& then, we went to eat at Kenny Rogers. Nahh... It was just ok. Wasn't that good. Wasn't that bad either... Service sucks though. Like, really. Shan't go into further details. You want details, ask me. Heh.
Halfway through, our parents went to KLCC, while me & my cousins still remained at Times Square. Guess this one. What will girls do, when they're left all alone in a shopping centre?

Isn't the answer obvious? SHOPPING LAH! Retail Therapy! Hahaha.. Ok, I have to tell you guys this. How we go shopping - it's like going at 80km/hr. Hahaha... Imagine that. We were like super fast. We knew what we wanted. We just went to the shops. Find the things we want, & thats it. Well, obviously, we still had a lot of time left, & we didn't feel like meeting our parents. So, we just hanged there. Went up & down, exploring. It was fun. FUN-tastic! Hahaha... & of course, I got myself some tops & a pair of sandals.

2nd night:
We got hungry. Went to find some food. On the way back, saw the Petronas Twin Towers. & so, yeah... We took a picture of us, in front of it. Hehe.

Haha. As you can see, we're all in our sleeping clothes. Preparing for bed. Hehe...

3rd day:

Ahh... Last day. The plan was to just go to my Dad's friend's house. But we woke up early in the morning, feeling hungry, not knowing what to do. So, while our parents went to find the market to buy some stuffs back, we went to explore again. This time we walked towards the left hand side, & then, we found KLCC. Big place. Can be compared to Vivo. & we bought some food at Cold Storage.

& we ate A&W. Yummy!

So, we got back to hotel on time. & proceeded to Dad's friend's place. Surprise! We celebrated my Aunt's birthday there also!

The parents

Hmm... & then we made our way back home. Approx. 7 hours journey. There were a few jams & slow traffic here & there. Reached home at around 11+. The next day (Tuesday) was a school day. Hahah... Forced myself to step out of bed. I can still feel the "jetlag" (I didnt take an airplane, but a bus instead.)

That's about my trip in KL. Hope you guys enjoyed reading it.
Please, people, Appreciate Singapore.
At least our traffic lights work better, our customer service are wayy much better, & our transportation is much more safer.
Hehe...
Till next time. Adios.
